Tyler Ault x Abby Rose Designs collab

This one of a kind cuff is a collaboration between myself and glass artist Tyler Ault, also known as BeetleSeuss on Instagram. Tyler has been working with glass for around 20 years, creating intricate sculptural pieces with a distinct, highly detailed style. For this piece, one of his handmade glass beetles is set in .925 sterling silver, bringing together his glasswork and my silversmithing into a wearable piece of art. On either side of the beetle are two pearls  

The beetle form is inspired by the symbolism of the scarab, an ancient Egyptian emblem often associated with transformation, protection, rebirth, and the movement of the sun. This cuff carries that same feeling of renewal and strength, with the glass beetle acting as the focal point of the piece.

Each cuff is handmade by me in my studio using .925 sterling silver. Because every piece is shaped, soldered, set, and finished by hand, you may notice subtle variations or tiny tool marks. These are not flaws, but part of the handmade process and what give each piece its character.

This piece is truly one of a kind and cannot be duplicated exactly. The glass beetle was handmade individually by Tyler, and the silver setting was created specifically around it, making this cuff completely unique.

Fit: This cuff is 5.5 inches in length and designed to fit a small to medium wrist. It has slight adjustability for a comfortable, personalized fit, but should not be pulled open or bent excessively.

Tips for wear: To put a cuff on correctly, place the opening at the softest part of your wrist and gently roll it on from the side. Do not pull the ends apart, as this helps preserve the integrity of the metal and keeps your piece strong for years.
